Bernadette has been on the Titusville Summer Theater Board of Directors since 2010 and she has costumed shows for TST for about 20 years. She has also costumed Titusville Winter Theater, TASD school productions, and several shows with the Barrow-Civic Theater. Bernadette moved here in 1986 from Manchester, Northwest England. She first got involved in theater in the 90s helping with costumes when her son was involved in a THS production of “Brigadoon”. Bernadette and her husband, Gary, have two children and six grandchildren. Three of her grandchildren (Machail, Ayden, and Kiernan Fullerton) are involved in local theatre.
Bernadette learned to sew from her mom, who made her wedding dress, and Bernadette carried on the tradition by sewing her daughter’s wedding dress. She has worked so tirelessly as our costumer that the Board enacted the “Bernadette Rule” (in which, no one begins eating at the cast parties until Bernadette arrives!), due to the long hours that she spends wrapping-up the show. Bernadette also enjoys jewelry making, crafting, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, cheering on the Manchester United soccer team, and traveling. She looks forward to seeing the community come together again and again for summer musicals! |
