Director: Abby Preston
Producer: James McGinnis
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, December 6 from 6:00-8:00 at The Parkside!
Performances:
- Performances will be Thursday and Friday, January 25th and 26th at The Parkside.
- Scripts will be used on stage like they would for a live radio taping.
- There’s no need to memorize lines, allowing for a lower-commitment, stress-free experience!
- Auditions will be Wednesday, December 6th at The Parkside in Titusville (The “Old YMCA” at 201 W Spring St) beginning at 6:00pm.
- Auditions will be held in a “table read” style, with actors trying out different roles in perhaps many different combinations. Please arrive at 6:00, as everyone will be auditioning together.
- We hope to be finished with the process by 8:00. Please reach out to us at titusvilletheater50@gmail.com if you need accommodations with cold reading the script or if you have any questions/concerns.
- Auditions are open to anyone ages 16+.
- Since this is a radio play, we will be casting auditioners who are the best fit vocally; age, physical ability, physical type, etc. will not be heavy factors.
- There are 20+ characters, and many actors will play more than one role. At minimum, we need 4M and 2F to cover all the roles. See character breakdown on the next page.
- We are looking for 1-2 sound effect/foley artists.
- We are also looking for 2-3 people to sing the jingles for the radio ads. Our voice actors and jingle singers can be separate people, or doubled up. If you are not a singer, or if you JUST want to sing, let us know!
- Depending on audition turnout, it’s possible that not everyone will be cast. However, our summer musicals take all auditionees. Please consider joining us for The Music Man!
- Rehearsals will begin Tuesday, January 2nd. No rehearsals in December.
- Rehearsals will be held at the Parkside from 6-8pm. Possible rehearsal days include Mondays-Thursdays January 2nd-Jan 24th.
- Please be prepared to list your schedule conflicts to auditions to assist us in making the rehearsal schedule. An official schedule will be sent out in December.
