Cast, Crew, and Production Staff
PART 1: CAST, CREW, & PRODUCTION STAFF
- 1:A Vaccination status
- Cast, crew, and production staff will be required to be up to date with the Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson vaccine and must show proof of vaccination to participate in the production.
- 1:B Masks
- IF CRAWFORD COUNTY IS IN ‘LOW to MEDIUM RISK’
- Masks will be optional for cast, crew, and production staff.
- Titusville Summer Theater retains the option to input a mask mandate, regardless of the risk level of Crawford county.
- IF CRAWFORD COUNTY IS IN ‘HIGH RISK’
- Cast, crew, and production staff will be required to provide and wear cloth or surgical face masks at each rehearsals, with special exceptions for tech week. A “mask” is defined as a close-fitting, 100% cotton, double-layered face covering which covers both the nose and mouth at all times. Gaiters, bandanas, ski masks, scarves, face shields, vented masks, etc. are not approved facial protective coverings. Surgical masks, KN95 masks, and NIOSH-approved N95 respirators are considered to be approved protective coverings.
- Masks will be worn for the entirety of each rehearsal, until the show begins tech rehearsals. Once tech begins, actors will be permitted to remove masks when they are onstage performing, and will be required to fully mask when they are not onstage.
- IF CRAWFORD COUNTY IS IN ‘LOW to MEDIUM RISK’
- 1:C Covid contraction - During rehearsals
- If a cast, crew, or production staff member is confirmed to be currently infected with COVID-19, the following actions will be taken:
- The infected person(s) will notify a member of the board of directors as soon as possible. The notified board member(s) will immediately inform the remaining members of the board of directors, so that they may assist with the mitigation efforts and decision making regarding the status of the production.
- If needed, an emergency meeting of the board of directors will be held to determine the future of the production.
- All cast, crew, and production staff members who test positive for Covid-19 will be required to stay home for at least 5 days.
- The board of directors will determine what areas of the rehearsal space were visited, used, or impacted by the infected cast or crew member, and identify if the area requires sanitization.
- Notify the cast and crew members that they may have had contact with an infected cast or crew member (without identifying such person for privacy reasons) and encourage them to monitor their health for any symptoms, and if symptoms appear they should contact a medical professional and/or test for COVID-19.
- The directors of the production will assess whether the infected cast or crew member(s)’s role placed them within 6 feet of other cast and crew members for more than 15 minutes over the course of a rehearsal.
- The directors and/or producers of the production will then individually contact each person who is known to have been in close contact, and enforce the quarantine guidelines outlined in 1:D & 1:E
- The directors of the production will assess whether the infected cast or crew member(s)’s role placed them within 6 feet of other cast and crew members for more than 15 minutes over the course of a rehearsal.
- The infected person(s) will notify a member of the board of directors as soon as possible. The notified board member(s) will immediately inform the remaining members of the board of directors, so that they may assist with the mitigation efforts and decision making regarding the status of the production.
- If a cast, crew, or production staff member is confirmed to be currently infected with COVID-19, the following actions will be taken:
- 1:D Covid exposure - During rehearsals
- All cast, crew, and production staff members who were in close contact with an infected person(s) will:
- Will be required to take a covid test, even if they don’t develop symptoms, at least 5 days after they last had close contact.
- Will not be required to stay home unless they develop symptoms.
- All cast, crew, and production staff members who were not in close contact with an infected person(s), will self-monitor their symptoms. If they remain asymptomatic, they will be permitted to attend rehearsals.
- All cast, crew, and production staff members who were in close contact with an infected person(s) will:
- 1:E Covid during show week
- If the infection occurs during show week, rehearsals and performances will be put on hold as the board of directors and show directors assess the situation to determine the safest way to proceed.
Audience
PART 2: AUDIENCE
- 2:A Masks

- Masks will be optional for Audience.
- Titusville Summer Theater retains the option to input a mask mandate, regardless of the risk level of Crawford county.

- IF CRAWFORD COUNTY IS IN ‘HIGH RISK’
- Masks will be required for all guests. Everyone must wear a facial mask covering that completely covers their nose and mouth at all times. Approved facial protective coverings include masks which are constructed of cloth tightly woven fabrics, such as cotton and cotton blends and contains two or three layers of fabric. Gaiters, bandanas, ski masks, scarves, face shields, vented masks, etc. are not approved facial protective coverings. Surgical masks, KN95 masks, and NIOSH-approved N95 respirators are considered to be approved protective coverings
